Brianna Nelson, Board Chair
Brianna Nelson has been the board chair since 2018. Ever since she was a child, Brianna has had a heart for children and for missions. After meeting Genet and visiting Ethiopia, she knew God was calling her to do something to help orphans in Yabelo, Ethiopia. Brianna has been a classroom teacher in both public and Christian education with a passion for teaching children how to read.

Genet Wario, Board Member
Genet Wario is from Yabelo, Ethiopia, and came to the United States, settling in Fargo with her family over 12 years ago. She and her husband currently serve as pastors of Joy International Church, an Ethiopian church in Fargo. She speaks English, Amharic, and Oromo. She provides guidance and support to the children's home in Ethiopia, talking with them every week. Having a heart for children with no parents to take care of them, Genet and her husband are also foster parents to several teenagers through Lutheran Social Services.

Janine Hansen, Board Vice Chair
Janine Hanson was also a founding board member and has served on the board since 2018. Janine's background is in accounting, and formerly she served on a Refugee Task Force at a local church. She currently works part-time at her church, overseeing the bookkeeping and administrative tasks.

Brian Nelson, Secretary and Treasurer
Brian has had a heart for missions since his twenties and has served on the board since 2018, as a founding board member. Brian is skilled in all things technical and currently works as a Principal Staff Engineer, focusing on computer security, identity, and access management.
